With Honor’s launch of the Honor 20 series, they included the Honor 20 lite which acts as a budget solution for those looking for an entry level phone in the series. The Honor 20 Lite captures the spirit of the 20 and 20 Pro, while compromising on some of the specs, in order to keep the price down.
Let’s see how this new budget phone stacks up again the Honor 8X, which is another one of Honor’s more popular budget phones.

Both phones are equipped with the Kirin 710 chipset, which makes them great phones for gaming and performance in general. In this area, neither phone is significantly better than the other. App launch speeds and performance is the same.
The one area where these phones are a little different is the camera. While the Honor 20 Lite has a higher resolution camera than the 8X, lets see if that translates into better quality.
These photos show that the Honor 8X has a significantly higher quality camera than the 20 Lite. These improvements are seen in videos, photos, slow-mo, night shots, AI shots and every other aspect of the cameras. Given that all the other specs on these phones are the same, the better camera makes the Honor 8X the superior phone.
