Huawei P Smart 2019 launches in Ukraine for ~€205 before heading to other European countries

Huawei P Smart 2019

Huawei is one of the largest smartphone manufacturers in the world. In fact, they are one of the few OEMs that actually fabricate their own SoC for their smartphones as well. The company has a number of different series of smartphones to target various markets, price demographics, styles, and hardware. Huawei first began their P series of smartphones back in 2012 with the Ascend P1 and have continued with it up until today. Last month, we got word of a smartphone called the Huawei P Smart 2019 coming to Europe for about €199 and the company followed through with our sources. It seems the P Smart 2019 was launched in Ukraine for ~€205.

At the time of our initial report, we had some of the hardware specifications nailed down, but since then the cat has been let out of the bag thanks to marketing material that was leaked by Roland Quandt. The P Smart 2019 is the successor to its 2018 brethren, so Huwaei has given it a faster SoC with the HiSilicon Kirin 710. For those who are curious, this would compare to the Snapdragon 636 and Snapdragon 660 chipsets from Qualcomm, minus the optimizations that each company has put into their respective chips.

Sources told us the P Smart 2019 would be launching throughout Europe in January but it looks like Huawei gave Ukraine an early taste of the device. Thanks to the details released by @rquandt, here are the rest of the specs for the Huawei P Smart 2019.
