Motorola seems to be on a roll this year, having already launched a couple of great phones as part of the Motorola One series. Most recently, it launched the Motorola One Macro and it doesn’t seem to be slowing down any time soon. We recently saw leaked renders of the Moto G8 Plus which revealed key information about the upcoming device. And now, we have our first look at the upcoming Moto G8 Play and Moto E6 Play as well.
The Moto G8 Play, as seen in the hands-on images shared by tudocelular, follows a similar design language as the Moto G8 Plus. It features a tall display up on the front with a teardrop-shaped notch and a rather large chin. On the back, it houses a triple camera setup and a fingerprint sensor with the Motorola logo. The sticker covering the display further reveals that the device will feature a 6.2-inch HD+ display, a 2.0 GHz octa-core processor, and a 4,000 mAh battery with fast charging support. It also sheds light on the camera configuration, revealing that the phone will pack in an ultra-wide lens with a 117-degree FoV and an 8MP selfie shooter.

High-quality renders of the Moto E6 Play shared by Mobielkopen also reveal some details about the upcoming phone. In comparison with the G8 Play, the Moto E6 Play clearly looks like a budget device with large bezels on all sides. On the back, it houses a single camera with an LED flash and the fingerprint scanner with the Motorola logo. Much like other budget devices in the market today, the E6 Play features a micro-USB port for charging and data syncing. The renders also reveal the button placement, with both the power button and the volume rocker situated on the right edge. While it isn’t as evident in the renders, the device also has a 3.5mm headphone jack on the top edge.

As of now, we have no further information from Motorola regarding the specifications or release date for either of these devices. We expect to learn more about their pricing and specifications as the launch draws closer.
