[Update: Available in the UK] The Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10+ are reportedly coming in a new Cardinal Red color

Update 2 (7/1/19 @ 12:50 PM ET): The Cardinal Red Samsung Galaxy S10 is now available in the UK through EE.

Update 1 (6/5/19 @ 11:50 AM ET): The Cardinal Red Galaxy S10 is now officially listed on Samsung Switzerland’s website.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 series was launched earlier this year in more colors than we’ve seen before. Depending on region and model, you could get one of the Galaxy S10s in Black, White, Green, Blue, or Yellow, not to mention the two ceramic options. It looks like Samsung isn’t done playing with color as a new leak shows the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ in a vibrant red.

This leak comes from Roland Quandt and it shows the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ in what he calls “Cardinal Red.” There is no mention of release date (other than “coming soon”) or region availability, which is particularly important. We’ve seen Samsung launch region exclusive colors in the past, including red. These extra colors usually come a while after the initial launch as a way to recapture headlines. It’s very likely that this new red color will be another region exclusive.

We’re crossing our fingers in hopes that Samsung brings the Cardinal Red Galaxy S10/S10+ to the U.S. and more countries. Roland only mentions the S10/S10+, so we don’t know if the Galaxy S10e or the 5G model will be included. We have been inundated with phone launches as of late, but the S10 series remains one of the top options available. This fiery hot color only makes it more attractive. Update 1: Official

Samsung Switzerland has listed the Cardinal Red Galaxy S10 for sale. The original article mentioned the Galaxy S10+ also getting this color, but, at least in Switzerland, it looks like only the standard Galaxy S10 will get it. Pricing starts at CHF 829.95 (~$837) for the 128GB model. We’re not sure where else the Cardinal Red version will be available, but this is a good sign for the rest of Western Europe.

Update 2: Available in the UK

After launching in some areas of Western Europe last month, the Cardinal Red Samsung Galaxy S10 is now available in the UK as well. This new bright red color is available on the 128GB models of the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and Galaxy S10e exclusively through EE. Pricing is the same as the other color option. We’re not sure how long EE will have this exclusive in the UK.

Good news for Samsung fans – the S10 range is now available in Cardinal Red exclusively on the UK’s No.1 network.
