OnePlus’ next Open Ears forum will take place in Amsterdam next month

OnePlus has always enjoyed the feedback of users, though that feedback hasn’t always materialized into features and improvements on devices. When a company receives hundreds of feedback reports a day, it can be hard to sift through them all and to take action on every single one. The OnePlus’ Open Ears forum is a platform for OnePlus to directly engage with its users and the community and seek their feedback. Previous editions of the Open Ears forums were held in different parts of the world and focused on various topics like the camera, customer service, and OxygenOS. The next one will take place in Amsterdam on the 20th of July.

The OnePlus Product Manager competition was a direct example of the company taking feedback to heart. This came in the form of implementing the best user-made feature, which turned out to be an entirely top-to-bottom redesign of OxygenOS. After the open ears forum in India at the start of May, the company also announced a number of features for the OnePlus 6 and the OnePlus 6T for Indian users. The idea of zen mode also came from one of the company’s forums. OnePlus has definitely been listening, and attending the Open Ears forum in Amsterdam means that you’ll get to have your thoughts heard directly by people involved in the development process of the company’s phones.

But how do you attend? Not everyone can, you’ll need to first fill out this form where you are asked a couple of questions about yourself and the experience of using the camera on your OnePlus device. Successful applicants will have all of their travel to Amsterdam and accommodation paid for. you must have your application in by the 22nd of June at 10 PM BST, and participants will be selected by June 25th at 10 AM BST. Let us know in the comments if you’ve applied!
