Hot off of the heels of Google themselves confirming how the Pixel 4 will look, Evan Blass tweeted a photo of a leaked Verizon roadmap which confirms the launch months of not only the Pixel 4 but the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 as well. As expected, the Pixel 4 will again launch in October, with the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 arriving in August. Because Google decided to leak a picture of the device early, some thought that we might have seen an earlier than usual launch. That is not the case, as it will launch in October just like in previous years.
To be a little bit more specific, both the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and the Google Pixel 4 will launch in the second half of their respective months. For those who may be interested, the next iPhone is also expected to launch towards the end of September. It’s worth noting that there are several months until any of these devices launch and something could change at any time.
The Pixel 4 is going to be the latest and greatest flagship straight from Google, and we already know a decent amount about it. For the first time, the company has opted for dual cameras on the back, with an expected dual camera system on the front like its predecessor. There’s no fingerprint scanner visible on the back of the Pixel 4 either, meaning that the company may have opted for an in-display fingerprint scanner instead. There’s no other information to be gleaned from Google’s confirmation.
As for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10, it’s pretty much in the same boat. We don’t know a whole lot about it, other than that it may not have a headphone jack or a Bixby button. OnLeaks has released renders which corroborates those rumors. There will also likely be an Infinity-O hole punch at the top instead of a notch. We’ll be keeping a close eye on both the Pixel 4 and the Galaxy Note 10 in the coming months.
