The Samsung Galaxy Fold foldable smartphone will be available in US stores on April 26th

The Samsung Galaxy Fold was finally unveiled and Unpacked 2019 in February. Since then, we haven’t heard much about the device. Samsung has been putting all of its attention on the launch of the Galaxy S10 series. It’s finally time for the foldable phone to make its official debut in stores across the US.

Starting tomorrow, people who registered on Samsung’s website to receive information about the Galaxy Fold will get an invitation to reserve the device on April 12th. For everyone else, the device will be in stores at AT&T, T-Mobile, Best Buy, and Samsung Experience stores on April 26th. We’re sure a lot of people will be interested in seeing the device in person.

As a quick refresher, the Galaxy Fold has two displays: a small 4.6-AMOLED display on the outside and the 7.3-inch foldable AMOLED display on the inside. There are six cameras in total: 1 on the front “cover,” 2 on the inside, and 3 on the rear. It’s powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, 12GB of RAM, 512GB of UFS 3.0 storage, and a 4,380 mAh battery. Sound expensive? It is. The Galaxy Fold will set you back $1,980. This is an early-adopter device in every form, but if you love the bleeding edge and can afford it, the device can be in your hands soon enough.
