Earlier this week, OnePlus announced the launch event for the OnePlus 7. Alongside this came the news that for the first time there would be a “Pro” version of the device released. The specifications of the OnePlus 7 Pro are impressive: a Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 4,000mAh battery with 30W Warp Charge, and three rear cameras. It’s worth mentioning, however, that this is not official information and it comes from previous rumors.
A new report reveals pricing and more launch details. The device will be available in three different colors; Nebula Blue, Almond, and Mirror Grey. If this naming convention and the teaser image is to be believed, we should see gradient patterns once again this year.
OnePlus has garnered a reputation for releasing smartphones that pack a heavy punch at a reasonable cost. Ishan Agarwal has also leaked the prices of some of the variants that will be available in Europe. Based on this, OnePlus’ prices look to be jumping up considerably. The prices, according to Agarwal, are as follows:

He mentions that these prices will change from country to country. However, these figures can give us a general idea of what the price of the different variants of the OnePlus 7 Pro will be in other countries. OnePlus typically prices devices cheaper in the US, simply changing the Euro sign to a Dollar sign.
OnePlus’ previous offering, the OnePlus 6T, was initially priced at €549 in Europe. This means that the OnePlus 7 Pro will cost €200 more than the last generation, a significant step up. If Agarwal’s leaks are to be believed, however, then you will get value for money. The 90Hz screen most likely accounts for a fair amount of this extra price.
Indeed, it appears that the success of this OnePlus 7 Pro will be dependent on the success of its new display. CEO Pete Lau has been hyping it up as much as he can – with “Smooth” being the keyword in most of the marketing so far – but there’s no guarantee that consumers will be as excited as he is about it.
