We’ve been tracking the Android Pie update for Samsung’s 2018 flagship phones for about a month now. The first beta updates for the Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+, and Galaxy Note 9 rolled out early last month. The stable update has started rolling out to the Galaxy Note 9 in Germany, which means a wider rollout is coming soon.
The software version for this update is N960FXXU2CRLT and it comes in at just 95MB if you are already running the beta. The small size means the last beta update was basically final. The stable build includes the January security patches, which have not been publicly released yet.

The stable Android Pie update for the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ started rolling out in Europe late last month. That update is still only available in a few countries, but Samsung’s roadmap says Android Pie will be available in January. We should see the stable update become available in more countries very soon.
