HTC CEO Cher Wang was at CES last week and she talked a lot about the future of the company when it comes to VR, smartphones and wearables. Cher says, to create a “natural extension to other connected devices”, virtual reality is going to be more important than a smartphone. This seems very ambitious since smartphones are the hub of most connected devices right now.
