Samsung brings free TV service to more Galaxy smartphones

Samsung’s free TV Plus service has become a great way to watch content on the company’s line of TVs. Recently, the service was brought over to select Galaxy smartphones, and a new report claims Samsung is bringing TV Plus to even more devices beginning this week.

Android Police reports Samsung TV Plus will roll out to the Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Z Flip and the original Galaxy Fold. Additionally, it’ll also be available on the Galaxy A series, Galaxy S9, and Galaxy Note 9. That just about covers Samsung’s most recent lineup of flagship and mid-range devices.

The arrival of Samsung TV Plus on these smartphones is good news for those of you in the U.S., because the Thanksgiving holiday is this week. You’ll have plenty of content to watch in between stuffing your face with food — and at no additional cost to you. The service is 100% free.

If you’re unfamiliar with Samsung TV Plus, the service features over 150 channels with a mix of content that includes CBSN, USA Today, Fuse XL, and beINSPORTS XTRA. And for those looking for a Thanksgiving recipe, there’s also Bon Appétit, plus other lifestyle channels. In other words, there’s a lot of free content to watch — you just need a supported Samsung smartphone.
