Download: OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T receive updates with September 2020 security patches

Earlier this year in July, OnePlus rolled out OxygenOS 10.3.5 for the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T. The update introduced OnePlus Buds support to the duo, brought optimizations for RAM management, addressed a few bugs, and updated the Android security patches to July 2020. Now, OnePlus has started rolling out OxygenOS 10.3.6 for the devices with the Android security patches for September 2020 and improvements for system stability.

The latest OxygenOS update for the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T has started rolling out to users in a staggered fashion. This means that the OTA update will only be delivered to a few users at the moment. Once the company confirms that the update doesn’t have any critical bugs, it should roll out to more users. Here’s the changelog for OxygenOS 10.3.6 for the OnePlus 6/6T:

  • System
    • Improved system stability and fixed general bugs
    • Updated Android Security Patch to 2020.09

In case you haven’t received the update on your device and you don’t wish to wait for the OTA notification, you can download the appropriate update package from the index below and flash it manually. Currently, we don’t have access to the incremental OTA for the OnePlus 6T. We’ll update the post with the link as soon as we get our hands on it.
