As mentioned earlier, the Samsung Galaxy Book Flex 5G can be configured with either an Intel Core i5 or i7 processor, that features Intel Irix Xe graphics, coupled with up to 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and up to 512GB of NVMe SSD storage. The notebook weighs in at just 1.26kg and has a small form factor, which makes it a great option for users who are often on the go.
Unlike most thin-and-light notebooks these days, the Galaxy Book Flex 5G packs in two cameras — a 13MP “world-facing” camera placed in the top-left corner of the keyboard deck and a 720p front-facing camera in the top bezel of the display. The notebook also comes with a built-in S Pen, which is housed within the front edge of the chassis. The notebook features a compact backlit keyboard with a TKL layout and dual 5W speakers with Smart Amp tuned by AKG.
For connectivity, the Samsung Galaxy Book Flex 5G includes support for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, LTE, and 5G (Sub6). In terms of I/O ports, the notebook features a USB Type-C port, a USB 3.0 Type-A port, a Thunderbolt 4 port, an HDMI port, a 3.5mm headphone/microphone combo jack, a UFS and microSD card slot, and a SIM slot. Powering the notebook is a 69.7Wh battery, which is expected to offer over 9 hours of backup on a single charge based on the Intel Evo certification.
As of now, Samsung hasn’t revealed any pricing or availability details for the Galaxy Book Flex 5G, however, the company has revealed that the notebook will be available in a single — Royal Silver — color variant. We will update this post as soon as we receive pricing and availability details from the company.
