Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro launching in India on October 16

The Redmi Note series is undoubtedly one of Xiaomi’s most successful product lineup and the Redmi Note 7 series from earlier this year has been one of the best selling products in its segment. The upcoming Redmi Note 8 series, which was launched in China and Europe earlier this year, is expected to continue this trend. The Redmi Note 8 Pro is now finally making its way to the Indian market, with the company planning to launch it at an event on October 16, 2019.

Following the launch of the new Redmi 8 earlier today, Xiaomi India’s Managing Director Manu Kumar Jain took to Twitter to announce the launch date of the Redmi Note 8 Pro. In his tweet, Jain revealed that the Redmi Note 8 Pro will be launched in India on October 16.

Mi fans, you have asked us about this an infinite number of times. Here’s revealing the launch date of #64MPQuadCamBeast.

In a follow-up tweet, Jain shared a video in which he revealed that the company will be inviting 1400 Xiaomi fans to the launch. He also added that the attendees will receive gifts worth INR 1500 at the event. If you’re interested in attending the launch, you can register by following the link in the tweet below.

As of now, there’s no indication that the Redmi Note 8 will also be launched at the same event. However, taking into account previous Redmi Note series launches, we expect the company to release the non-Pro device on the same date.
