The Mobvoi TicWatch Pro LTE/4G launched this past July as a powerful Wear OS device that can be connected at all times. In my review, I talked about how the TicWatch Pro LTE is a great piece of hardware held back by Google’s Wear OS software. Mobvoi has done a ton of work on their end to overcome this and the latest addition is sleep tracking.
Sleep tracking has been in the pipeline for the TicWatch Pro before the LTE variant was even announced. There are, of course, 3rd-party apps that can be used to track your sleep with a Wear OS device, but Mobvoi’s solution is much smarter. Apps like Sleep as Android require the user to manually start tracking, but Mobvoi is using AI to do this automatically.

TicSleep is available on the TicWatch Pro (Bluetooth-only and LTE models). Mobvoi specifically said it will roll out to those devices first, which may mean it will come to other TicWatch devices as well. Users can download the TicSleep app from the Google Play Store right now. Personally, I don’t know how people wear bulky watches and fitness trackers on their wrist while sleeping, but if that’s something you do, TicSleep sounds great.
