Samsung announced both the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ just a couple of weeks ago, with a 5G edition of the Note 10+ available on some networks as well. The trio of devices has begun to reach consumers, with all of them packing some impressive specs. Just like any other Android device release, the company must release their kernel source code in order to comply with the GPLv2 license that the Linux kernel is under. Samsung has done exactly that, and you can now download the kernel source code for the Galaxy Note 10, Note 10+, and Note 10+ 5G.
You can download the zip file of kernel sources for each of the model numbers listed above by heading over to the Samsung Open Source Release Center. While Snapdragon Samsung smartphones typically can’t be unlocked, Exynos ones can. Source code is a very important first step to any kernel or custom ROM development, although Samsung phones never usually see a lot of that. You can still check out the XDA forums for both devices to keep an eye out on development. Both the Galaxy Note 10 and the Note 10+ already have a TWRP build, for example.
