The Moto E6 Plus has shown up a few times in recent weeks and now the device is official. Motorola announced the phone at IFA 2019 event and it’s exactly what we expected. This is a very low-end phone with some features commonly associated with higher-end devices, such as dual cameras and a display notch.

As you can see from the specifications above, the Moto E6 Plus is firmly in the low-end category. That’s where the E series has really excelled and the Moto E6 Plus looks to be no different. This phone may be cheap, but it doesn’t look cheap. Motorola has opted for slim bezels, gradient color schemes, and a display notch. These are all things people associate with more expensive devices.
Another great addition to a low-end phone is dual cameras. The main sensor is 13MP with f/2.0 aperture and it’s joined by a 2MP depth sensor. You’ll be able to get great bokeh effects by using the cameras in tandem. The front camera is a midling 8MP. Going back to the rear of the device, there is a fingerprint scanner inside the Motorola logo dimple.
Rounding out the specs, we’ve got the MediaTek Helio P22, 2 or 4GB of RAM, and 32 or 64GB of storage. The storage can be expanded up to 512Gb with a microSD card. The battery comes in at 3,000mAh and it’s actually removable, just like the regular Moto E6. As you’d expect from a device in this range, it does have a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Moto E6 Plus will also roll out across Asia in the coming months.
