The Honor 9X Pro was announced back in late July, but it’s not globally available yet. Because of that, it’s not super easy to get the device in all regions. XDA TV‘s TK Bay was able to pick one up during a recent trip to Shenzhen and now he’s giving us a look at this attractive device.
TK was able to sideload the Google Play Store and services on the Honor 9X Pro with relative ease, but it is a little more difficult than usual. One of the key features of the Honor 9X Pro is the 16MP pop-up camera. That camera allows the front of the phone to be nearly 100% display and it looks great.

Speaking of the display, it’s 6.5-inches IPS LCD and it looks good. TK talks about how Honor’s X line now has more typical mid-range and flagship features like pop-up cameras, USB Type-C, plenty of RAM and storage, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The global release of the Honor 9X Pro is still unknown, but it’s a nice device if you can get your hands on it. Check out TK’s full first impressions below.
