ZTE is back in the US with the Axon 10 Pro for $550

This time last year, we were writing about US government employees being told not to use ZTE devices. This was after the company had paid a large amount of money to the US government in hopes of lifting a trade ban. Nowadays, it’s Huawei who is in the spotlight, and ZTE is making a comeback in the US with the ZTE Axon 10 Pro.

The ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G was originally announced at MWC earlier this February. The company is now launching a non-5G version in the US, compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile bands. In a nutshell, the Axon 10 Pro features a 6.47-inch AMOLED display, triple rear cameras (including 48MP), Snapdragon 855 SoC, 8/12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and a 4,000 mAh battery.

This is a pretty big deal for ZTE to break back into the US market. The company made a little-known phone for Visible earlier this year, but the Axon 10 Pro is their first high-end branded phone for the US market in a while. ZTE is selling the Axon 10 Pro through their online store and retailers such as Newegg and B&H Photo. The device is available starting today for $549 for the 8GB model and $599 for the 12GB model. ZTE is throwing in a TPU case, earbuds, and 3.5mm to USB Type-C adapter.
