OnePlus is gearing up to launch its first-ever OnePlus TV at an event in India on September 26, 2019. But that is not all there is planned for that day. The newest set of leaks comes to us through notable leaker @OnLeaks, who has not only shared the details of the launch of the next OnePlus smartphone but has also shared the renders of the OnePlus 7T, complete with its circular triple rear camera module.
OnLeaks has had a very good track record, having accurately leaked the OnePlus 7 and the OnePlus 7 Pro too, amongst other devices in the past. The renders that he has shared for the upcoming OnePlus 7T go on to largely match what we have seen from @evleaks as well as from @IshanAgarwal, so we are confident about this leak. Evan’s renders do have a different design within the camera setup, so maybe that could pertain to a different variant.
According to @OnLeaks, the OnePlus 7T will be launched on September 26, 2019, alongside the OnePlus TV as well as the OnePlus 7T McLaren “Senna” Edition. The new leaked renders reveal that the OnePlus 7T will come with a circular camera module to house the three rear cameras, up from the two rear cameras on the OnePlus 7. The design of the camera module is striking and will be the biggest physical differentiation between the two generations. The back panel is curved, made of glass, and features the OnePlus logo in the center, just like its predecessor.
The renders reveal that the OnePlus 7T will retain the waterdrop notch from its predecessor, along with the flat display. The phone is expected to measure 161.2 x 74.5 x 8.3mm with a 6.5″ display. The rest of the phone elicits no surprise, as we see the standard set of ports and buttons, like the USB Type-C port, volume rocker, alert slide and the power button, all at their expected places.
The renders reveal the physical appearance of the device. As for the other specifications, we venture into speculation. The OnePlus 7T is likely to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+, an FHD+ Optic AMOLED display, and up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of non-expandable storage. Currently, there is also no information on whether we will see a OnePlus 7T Pro, but we likely will. Stay tuned.
