The last time we talked about the leaked Motorola phone with a quad-camera setup it was being called the “Motorola One Pro.” New information suggests this device will actually be known as the Motorola One Zoom. Despite its name, though, this phone might not be in the Android One program.
The name is not the only thing that has changed since the last leak. In fact, the whole complexion of this device is different. The “Pro” moniker and quad-cameras lead many to believe this would be a flagship phone with specs like the Snapdragon 855 and 6GB of RAM. However, it turns out the Motorola One Zoom is another phone in the growing “premium mid-range” segment. The quad-cameras are impressive, but the other specs are firmly mid-range.

This new information about the Motorola One Zoom comes from Roland Quandt. As previous information indicated, it will indeed have a 48MP camera in the quad-camera array. The other specs include the Snapdragon 675 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of UFS storage, a microSD card slot, light-up Moto logo, Alexa integration, and it will not run Android One. He also says the price will be 399 euros ($445).

We still don’t know exactly what all the cameras will be for, but a device in this price range with four cameras is interesting. It may not be as cheap as some would like, however, with the Snapdragon 675. The images show that the Motorola One Zoom will be available in black and purple color options as well. What are your thoughts on this upcoming Motorola phone?
