GooIf you’re a fan of a sports team(s), you know how important it is to always know the score. Google, of course, can help you get up-to-the-minute results from a variety of sports. The problem is it’s not really great for live events. They’re trying to fix that with the ability to have events get pinned to the homescreen automatically.
The issue with sports scores in Google is you have to constantly refresh the page for live updates. Many dedicated sports apps don’t require this. One way they have made this better is by allowing people to pin a live event to the homescreen. Now, Google can automatically add future events to the homescreen for you.

The feature works basically the same as before. Do a Google search for your favorite team and find an upcoming event. Tap the “Pin live score” button. Once the pinned event pops up on your screen, tap it and you’ll see an option for “Automatically pin future games.” Tapping that will allow you to choose which team you want to follow, and you’re done. Now, when an event is happening, it will automatically appear on your screen.
You’ll never miss a game and it won’t require any extra work on your part. Just set it up once and forget it. To disable the feature, you can tap on the pinned event and uncheck your team.
