With so many great smartphone cameras out there today, the camera has become a very large part of the review process. We tend to put the photo and video samples under intense examination, even the smallest of “defects” causing people to panic. XDA TV‘s Max Weinbach decided to take a more casual approach and look at the Xiaomi Mi 9T and the camera in a more typical day-to-day fashion.
First, Max talks about how the front-facing camera is not great, but the rear cameras are pretty great. He took the Xiaomi Mi 9T to the Fortnite World Cup and snapped some photos and recorded video. Under intense inspection, you can find problems with the photos, but for the purposes that most people need, they’re very impressive.
Of course, this is not an excuse to gloss over the faults. It’s all a matter of perspective. If you’re the type of person who values nothing but top-notch photography, you may not be impressed. But for the everyone else, the Xiaomi Mi 9T offers a great camera experience.
