The Samsung Galaxy S10+ and Samsung Galaxy S10 5G have very similar cameras. In terms of specifications, their only difference is that the 5G S10 has a Time of Flight (TOF) sensor on the rear that’s used for live focus. Besides that, is there any difference between the camera quality on the S10 5G and S10+?

In this video, I’m comparing my Galaxy S10 5G review unit (Exynos model) with my personal Galaxy S10+ unit (Snapdragon model) in terms of the camera quality. I go through a few different situations with each of the lenses and nitpick the photos from each device. Both phones have amazing camera hardware and software, but there is going to be a winner because Samsung uses their own ISOCell sensors in the S10 5G while they use Sony IMX sensors in the S10+.
Throughout the tests, both devices performed about equally. The Galaxy S10 5G does seem to eke its way to the top and outperform the Galaxy S10+ in most ways. For a more general comparison between the S10 models, check out my unboxing of the 5G unit.
