The Motorola Moto G7 Plus was launched in February 2019 alongside its siblings in the Moto G7 family. With a 6.2″ FHD+ LCD and Qualcomm Snapdragon 636, the main draw of the phone at the time of its launch was its camera hardware, featuring dual rear cameras with a 16MP, f/1.7 primary sensor with OIS. All the phones in Moto’s 2019 lineup have launched with Android Pie, so you get a clean Android experience out-of-the-box, with just a few Moto improvements sprinkled on top. On the other hand, the talking point for the Ulefone Armor 6 is its claim of being the world’s first 5G rugged phone. In some good news for custom ROM enthusiasts, both the phones are now officially support by TWRP.

Official TWRP support means that you get recovery builds directly from the official TWRP website. You also get updates whenever the project receives an update or bug fixes. The Moto G7 Plus is likely to see decent following considering its mainstream nature and Motorola’s brand goodwill for churning out decent phones in the budget and mid-range segments.

The Ulefone Armor 6, on the other hand, is unique because of its IP68/IP69K and MIL-STD-810G certification that makes the phone capable to withstand a lot of abuse, including being operational within temperatures ranging between -40°C and 80°C.
