It’s pretty common nowadays to see a company release two phones at the same time with one being a more powerful “Pro” version. Naturally, these Pro models tend to get most of the attention and the non-Pro variants get unfairly overlooked. Joshua Vergara from PocketNow recently compared two non-Pro variants from popular duos: the Honor 20 and OnePlus 7.
One reason why these two particular phones are overlooked is that they’re hard to get in the US. Regardless of availability, these two phones have a lot in common. Their screen sizes are similar, though the Honor has an LCD while the OnePlus has an AMOLED panel. Performance is mostly similar between the Kirin 980 and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 as well, though the latter fares slightly better in gaming. The biggest differences come with the cameras as the Honor 20 is packing four sensors to the OnePlus 7’s two.
