Google’s game streaming service, Stadia, was announced back in March, but this week we learned many important details. We finally know how much it will cost ($10 per month), if there will be a free tier (yes), how many games will be available at launch (31), the price of the controller ($69), and more. Google also revealed a special “Founder’s Edition” bundle for early adopters.
The Stadia Founder’s Edition bundle is available for pre-order right now. The bundle includes the following:
- Night Blue controller
- Chromecast Ultra
- 3 months of Stadia Pro
- 3 months of Pro for a friend
- Destiny 2: The Collection
- Founder’s Stadia Name
The reaction to the monthly price of the Pro tier has been mixed, but most people agree the Founder’s Edition is a pretty good deal. You get all of that, which is a value of $300, for $129. Even if you don’t plan on paying the $10 per month for Stadia Pro, this is a good way to get started. You can even cancel your Pro subscription after 3 months.
So here’s the topic for discussion: how many of you pre-ordered the Founder’s bundle? Are you excited about the service? Let us know in the comments below!
