MIUI 10.3.4 Global Stable for the Xiaomi POCO F1 brings Widevine L1, 4k@60 video recording, Game Turbo, and more

The Xiaomi Pocophone F1 is an interesting smartphone for a much-needed market of the smartphone industry. We have flagship smartphones that are going so far to please the high-end buyers that the prices have gone up to $800 and higher. We have a few OEMs right now that are working on bringing high-end hardware to a lower price point and Xiaomi is one of these companies. They have made their mark on the sub $200 segment with their Redmi devices and the Poco F1 seems like their next big push. The device is currently receiving a new OTA update that adds support for Widevine L1, 4K video recording at 60 frames per second, and more.

We spoke about this particular update a little more than a month ago here at XDA. It was then when we learned that the POCO F1, Xiaomi Mi 8, and Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro had a new MIUI beta update that included 4K video recordings at 60 FPS. MIUI beta updates for the POCO F1 have been rolling out quite frequently with support for Widevine L1 coming in one update, 960 FPS slow-motion video recording in another update, and more. Now that Xiaomi has had plenty of time testing these new features in MIUI beta updates it seems they are ready for prime time.

Along with the 4K60FPS feature, Widevine L1 support, and new modes for its AI camera, we’re seeing a major update being pushed to the Xiaomi smartphone. This update to MIUI 10.3.4 also brings the company’s Game Turbo mode for a better mobile gaming experience, it includes the March 2019 security patches, adds face unlock support, fixes a number of bugs, and more. The changelog is huge (as you can see from the image below) and you can download the Recovery ROM for this update via the download button below.
