After the successful launch of the Honor View20, Huawei’s Honor sub-brand is gearing up to launch its next device. Honor has sent out invites for its next event where the company will announce the Honor 20 series.

The tweet sent out by Honor’s official social media account uses “Series” in the hashtag, indicating that there will be more than one device in the lineup. The date of the event is announced with a formula that revolves around the digit “4,” indicating that 4 will be the theme of this launch. This could mean that perhaps there may be a total of four devices launched at the event. Or, maybe the Honor 20 will have four cameras on the back of the device, which is also a possibility seeing how the case leak for the device has space for at least three cameras and a side section which could possibly house a 3D ToF sensor and a flash module.
The equation for the date solves out to 521, i.e. 21st May. The image used for the announcement features London’s iconic Tower Bridge during the day and night, indicating that night photography will also be a theme for the device. Considering how several recent devices have boasted of dedicated modes for night photography, this should come off as no surprise. The image explicitly mentions that the photo is for illustration purposes only; we appreciate the disclaimer.
We’ll keep you updated on the device when we learn more. Stay tuned for more information!
