Motorola does a great job of keeping their Moto Camera app updated with the latest features. This is the default camera app on phones like the Moto Z3 and Moto Z3 Play. The last update arrived back in August with Google Lens integration. Before that, it received Google Photos integration. Now, the Moto Camera app is getting support for Google’s AR Stickers.

There have been a number of updates to Moto Camera since we last covered it, but this update includes some big features. The app is up to version 7.2.31.13 now. Here is the full changelog from the Play Store:

  • AR Stickers for moto z3 and moto z3 play
  • Front Camera Portrait for moto g5s plus (and all devices)
  • Watermark for all devices
  • Spot color for front camera for all devices
  • Integrated camera help for all devices
  • Bug fixes and stability improvements for all devices

AR Stickers allow you to place virtual objects and characters in the real world. This feature was only added to the Moto Z3 and Moto Z3 Play. Portrait mode for the front camera was added to all devices (not sure why they singled out the Moto G5S Plus). With the watermark feature, you can add a tag in the corner that says “shot on moto z3 play,” your name, and the Motorola logo. Spot color is an effect that isolates one color profile in the photo. Lastly, the update includes more camera help and bug fixes.
