The specifications of the Redmi Note 6 Pro come as no surprise to anyone. What continues to surprise us is that so little has changed from the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, while the rest of the market continues to adapt and even inch ahead of Xiaomi in a category where the Redmi Note lineup was the leader. When compared to the Redmi Note 5 Pro, the Redmi Note 6 Pro is just a minor upgrade. Perhaps a more accurate name for this device would have been “Redmi Note 5.1 Pro,” because it’s practically the same phone with a notched display and a better camera setup.
