Not many people have heard of T-Mobile’s REVVL smartphone series. It was during the first half of last year when we covered a rumor about the magenta wireless carrier wanting to sell their own self-branded smartphone. The rumors said the goal of the phone was to “offer premium specs without the premium price tag.” That didn’t end up being the case when specs of the REVVL T1, REVVL T2, and the REVVL T3 PRO were announced, but it was indeed a self-branded smartphone from T-Mobile. Today, the company has announced the 2018 version of their REVVL smartphones, the REVVL 2 and the REVVL 2 Plus.
Again, the company’s announcement of this series claims the Revvl 2 line offers “flagship features without the flagship price including.” But when we actually get a look at the specs they are more in line with low to mid-range devices. Unlike last year, we didn’t hear about the REVVL’s successors until much later in the year. However, last month we reported on the possibility that the Alcatel 7 from TCL would be rebranded and sold as the T-Mobile REVVL 2 Plus. This made a lot of sense to us as it was TCL who manufactured the REVVL and REVVL Plus for T-Mobile last year as well.
So now the two new REVVL phones from T-Mobile are official and here are the specs they come with.

The REVVL 2 and REVVL 2 Plus will be available starting November 16th in T-Mobile stores and online. The REVVL 2 will be available for free after 24 monthly device credits when you add a line (regularly $168 or $0 down and $7 per month for 24 months on T-Mobile EIP). The REVVL 2 Plus will be available for $84 or $3.50 per month when you add a line (regularly $252 or $0 down and $10.50 per month for 24 months on EIP).
