We’ve been talking about Samsung Experience 10 since early September. We had the first hands-on with Samsung’s latest iteration of their software, which is based on Android Pie. Today, Samsung made it official and showed off what they are calling “One UI.” They also shared their update plans for Android Pie on the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy Note 9.
Android Pie for the Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+, and Galaxy Note 9 will be available in January. They will also have an open beta for starting this month. We’ve covered the new One UI at length (before it was called “One UI”), and it looks exactly how we expected. This is Samsung’s biggest design change in years. The update takes cues from Android 9 Pie, but also has a lot of new Samsung stuff. This will be a huge update for Galaxy S9 and Note 9 users and it’s coming very soon.
Keep your eye out for more official details about when exactly this update will be available.
