Unsplash is a website that offers free, high-quality images from photographers all around the world. Their website includes a collection of categories to sift through, a search box right at the top for those who are looking for something specific, and then a masonry grid of images that have been submitted. There are a lot of amazing looking photographs available for free, so XDA Senior Member p32929 created an application called DeSplash to easily bring them to the Android community.
There are over 100,000 high-resolution images that DeSplash can pull from and you can see a new wallpaper from this repository each time you unlock your device. The application is free (it just contains ads) and can be downloaded from the Play Store. If you don’t have Google apps and services installed on your smartphone though, the developer has offered up the APK here as well. DeSplash will work on Android 4.0.3+ devices and up and includes the following features.
DeSplash Features
- 100000+ high-res photos
- Material design
- New wallpapers, every time you lock your phone
- Auto set a new wallpaper
- Various Picture Categories
- Various Picture Orientation
