The original Razer Phone, despite having some flaws such as lacking a headphone jack, started the 2018 trend of gaming smartphones. With a combination of top-of-the-line specifications including a 120Hz variable refresh rate display, large speakers, 4,000 mAh battery, 8GB RAM, pre-loaded Nova Launcher Prime, and pre-loaded software made with gamers in mind, it’s no surprise that the first iteration was successful enough for the company to release a follow-up. Dubbed the Razer Phone 2, the successor brings in an updated Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 system-on-chip, Chroma lighting support, wireless charging, better water resistance, and more.
Now, the XDA forums for the Razer Phone 2 are open, meaning that users and developers can begin tweaking their phones. Check out the forums now!
