OnePlus 6T will be announced on October 30th

oneplus 6t event

After several weeks of leaks and rumors, we finally have a solid announcement date for the OnePlus 6T. The company will be holding an event on October 30th in New York City. The OnePlus 6T will be unveiled, but this will also be a chance for fans to check out the phone. Attendees will also receive a swag bag with a selection of “exclusive gifts worth several times the value of admission,” including Bullets Wireless Earbuds.

We already know quite a bit about the OnePlus 6T. It will forgo the rear fingerprint sensor for an in-display sensor, and OnePlus has explained their reasoning. It will not have wireless charging or an official IP rating. OnePlus has also nixed the headphone jack, but they will include Type-C headphones. The notch will be downsized to a more tolerable “waterdrop” shape. It has dual cameras on the back and should be coming to T-Mobile.

Rounding out the rest of the expected specs, the display is 6.4-inches, OLED, and Full HD+. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, 6/8GB of RAM, 64/128/256GB of storage, and a 3,700 mAh battery. The dual cameras will be 16+20MP. Android Pie is also expected at launch. If you’d like to attend the event, you can buy tickets here. The event will also be live-streamed at the YouTube video below.
