Nextbit Robin was one of the most innovative phones in the Android market. The company’s patented cloud storage features made the device stand out from the furious competition. Razer acquired Nextbit in January of 2017, and it wasn’t long after that when the gaming company released a new phone under their name, Razer Phone. As it turns out, the company thinks that the design is as good as it gets, so they won’t be changing it much for the sequel. Razer Phone 2 has been leaked previously and showed up in the Google Play Console.
The infamous leaker, Evan Blass just joined the party and shared his first picture of the Razer Phone 2. What does the photo tell us? Well, for starters, front-facing dual stereo speakers are here to stay, so that’s good. The bezels are slightly smaller than the previous version of the phone. The headphone jack is still nowhere to be found like expected. But, on the back, we can finally see something different. The phone features two cameras and LED flash between them. We don’t know the exact combination of camera specs.

Due to the fact that the fingerprint scanner can’t be found anywhere on the photo, that gives us reason to think that either it’s still on the right side of the device, or it’s inside the display. The latter is less likely though, as we haven’t heard about it at all. The Razer logo on the back of the device could be Chroma, as the Play Store listing showed the app pre-installed. The alleged specifications of the device based on our leak include the Snapdragon 835, 8GB RAM, 1440 x 2560 resolution screen, and Android 8.1. Evan Blass didn’t really say much about the device, so that’s everything that we know so far. The device will be released on October 10th.
