OnePlus 6T leaked render reveals familiar design and no rear fingerprint scanner

The OnePlus 6T has been a popular device these last few weeks. We’ve already heard a lot about OnePlus’ mid-cycle device. It’s poised to be OnePlus’ first launch on a US carrier, has an in-display fingerprint scanner, and no headphone jack. Today, we’re getting our first look at the OnePlus 6T, at least a little bit.

The leaked render shows off just the top section of the back of the phone. The shape is nearly identical to the OnePlus 6 and the camera placement is exactly the same as well. The one notable difference is the lack of a fingerprint scanner under the cameras. Assuming it would be in the same spot as the OnePlus 6, we should be able to see the top of it. This confirms again that the device will have an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Other than that, this render doesn’t reveal much. Most of the changes will be under the hood. The rumor of triple rear cameras seems to be false. We expect the device to launch in October for around $550, which would be a pretty good price. A lot of people were excited about the OnePlus 6T, but the lack of a headphone jack has dampened to mood a bit. Are you still anxious for this phone?
