The Motorola Moto G lineup has always been popular in the lower mid-range price segment. This year, however, the Moto G6 series falls behind its competitors in terms of specifications and value. In the face of strong competition from the likes of Xiaomi, Asus, Honor, and Realme, Motorola has failed to stand apart in this segment. Much of this is related to the SoC as even the top-end Moto G6 Plus can’t compete with phones such as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. Pricing-wise, Motorola phones have also offered less value than their competitors. It was time for a change.

With the Motorola One Power, Motorola is aiming do that. It’s ready to take on phones such as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, which has been the benchmark in this segment. Motorola steps up to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC with the Motorola One Power. Notably, the smartphone also a massive 5,000mAh battery, which should ensure great battery life.
