As many of us are looking ahead to Android 9 Pie and LineageOS 16.1 (in the way future), there is still a lot of work being done with LineageOS 15.1 (and 14.1 as well). Android Oreo may not be the latest version of Android anymore, but thanks to the folks at LineageOS, these updates are keeping aging devices working well, and with the latest features with no thanks to the OEM the phones came from.
