Galaxy Note 8 Photographed in the Wild Ahead of its Launch Event

As the saying goes, when it rains it pours and that is exactly what is happening with the Galaxy Note 8 leaks these days. We’ve been hearing various pieces of information about this device for months, with many expecting the phone to be priced around €999. We’re looking at a launch date of  August 23rd (which is just 2 weeks away), and that it should be made available in South Korea on September 15th. We have even seen alleged CAD renders and leaked press renders of the Galaxy Note 8 as well.

The last of this stream of leaks is a list of hardware specs that are said to be used in Samsung’s upcoming flagship. This information came to us from reliable leaker Evan Blass and it aligns with previous rumors we heard about the device. So up until now, we’ve heard and seen just about all we could of the Galaxy Note 8. That is, except for live pictures. This is normal for most devices too as they’re generally put on lockdown until the official launch date.

OEMs do give early units of unreleased smartphones to a select number of people though and these are generally covered in identifying marks so the OEM knows who has which device. This is also how they can track down exactly which unit was leaked to the press and that’s what we’re seeing here today. Seemingly from out of nowhere, four photographs have leaked online that give us a look at the upcoming flagship smartphone from multiple angles.

The images are watermarked by a website called My Everyday Tech, and they were originally published on their website. However, that post has been taken down and now it only returns a 404 page not found error. However, some quick people within the community have been able to grab these images and have provided us a mirror on multiple image hosting services. The four images match up with previous rumors we’ve heard about the Galaxy Note 8, lending them credibility.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be officially announced on 23rd August.
