The final day of Tasker Week is coming to a close, and we’re featuring a plethora of neat creations made by the Tasker community. The beauty of Tasker is that it has endless possibilities, with the ability to create a Task for just about anything.
There are many cool features and plenty of functionality we wish our phones had, and depending on your ROM, you might not get them all. Custom ROMs and Xposed add a lot to play with, but Tasker also lets you do surprising amounts of automation, customization and feature-creation without any flashing or system hooks.

- Automatically silence ringing phone when you pick it up
- Fingerprint Protect an Application.
- Popup option to Call or SMS on phone when a Phone # is copied to your PC clipboard.

- Scan a barcode and add the product name to Wunderlist.
- Keep track of when you miss class using your GPS location
- Automate checking of items in the Google Play Store to see if they’re on sale
- Force app to adjust media volume
- Get time of next alarm using Java Functions.
- Java function to determine if music is playing.
- A beginner’s tutorial on “HTTP Get” to get data from websites/API’s.
- Correct Time Stamps of Image/Video Files (ROOT)
- Query Tasker If The Screen is Locked or Not.
- Manipulate Google Fusion Tables to track your daily run based on what song you’ve been listening to
