A recent report by antivirus software company Dr.WEB reveals that several games on the Google Play Store contain a trojan called Android.Xiny.19.origin. The trojan is embedded within a seemingly normal game application, but once installed it sends identifiable information to its host server. In addition, it can launch arbitrary APK files hidden in images sent from a host server, and can leverage root access (if enabled on the device) to automatically install/remove other software. Check those permissions, people!
