After announcing and demonstrating Android Pay at its annual I/O earlier this year, Google went on to finally launch the app in early September. However, like most initial releases, the app wasn’t without its bugs, and v1.1 of Android Pay started rolling out, targeted specifically at addressing the issues in v1.0, such as the problems when setting it up on a new device, and the difficulty in setting up loyalty and gift cards without a credit card.
