Kazuo Hirai recently talked about the company’s future plans when it comes to the smartphone market. While the restructuring has “shown progress”, we are told Sony needs to at least break even next year (and onwards). Kazuo says that “will continue with the business as long as we are on track” but then tells us they “haven’t eliminated the consideration of alternative options”.
