Shop Samsung adds delivery management via FedEx, prepares referral incentives

With the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series shipping soon, Samsung is working on re-vamping the Shop Samsung app for those who want to buy the latest and greatest devices. With prices getting higher and higher, it’s getting harder to convince users to buy these devices. After an APK teardown, we have found evidence that Samsung is working on bringing its referral program to the mobile app for easier referrals.

Samsung’s referral program has been around for a while now. It seems like it was opened around the same time as the Galaxy S9 launch. This program allows you to send your friends and family links to buy Samsung products. They will get 10% off their order along with you getting up to $1,500 in rewards from their purchases. This means you can get up to $110 off the Galaxy Note 10+. Samsung doesn’t state their rewards, but they claim to offer the aforementioned $1,500 in rewards. Samsung is also adding a new box that will link you to FedEx to customize your order. This only opens a page to sign up for FedEx Delivery Manager. It’s a good service to have. It will show you tracking information as soon as a label is made in FedEx. It also allows you to pick schedule orders and allow orders to be picked up at stores. It’s a must-have for those who get deliveries from FedEx.

While the referral program isn’t showing up in my app, the new FedEx window is. It’s nice that Samsung is linking FedEx Delivery Manager because it’s a really great service. If you are interested in the referral program, you can check out our article about it to learn more.
