Android 6.0 Marshmallow for OnePlus One Rolling Out Tomorrow

oneplus-one

The OnePlus One is a killer device. You’ve probably heard me say this a hundred times already, but the phone really holds a competitive place in the market even after two years of release. And since you are reading this on XDA Developers, there is a good chance you are already rocking a 3rd party ROM on it.

There’s some more good news about to flow in for the OnePlus One. We brought news that Android 6.0 Marshmallow for the device is officially going to be released soon, and according to the OnePlus India blog, Android 6.0 will drop tomorrow!

The blog mentions that CyanogenMod 13 build (ZNH0EAS26M) will be released tomorrow for the phone. As expected, the rollout will be staged in a random manner, but the update will eventually cover all users on CyanogenOS 12.1.

The blog has caused some confusion with the news. For one, it mentions CM 13.0, instead of COS 13.0. This could be an honest mistake on the part of the writer, but the blog post then goes on to link to CyanogenMod 13’s Release post. To further complicate matters, the linked CM 13 blog post is for the Snapshot releases, which have a build version of ZNH0EAO1QB, so it will either be a separate snapshot CyanogenMod 13 build, or will be based off of CyanogenOS 13.

Either way, we hope to find out soon which of these will land on the OnePlus One.
